Our history

The Personal Savings Bank of the Metropolitan University, registered on January 31, 1972, is an associative entity, with its own legal personality, non-profit, created and directed by its associates, aimed at promoting its organization, direction and operation. in the principles and norms established in the Law of Savings Banks, Savings Funds and Similar Savings Associations and their Regulations, in their Statutes and in the other laws of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela insofar as they are applicable; as well as, in the circulars issued by the Superintendency of Savings Banks, Savings Funds, and similar Savings Associations as governing body attached to the Ministry of Popular Power for planning and Finance.

CAPUM is made up of all the employees of the Metropolitan University, the Metropolitan University Foundation and UNIMET SERVICIOS.
 

Likewise, the workers of the Savings Bank may be associated with it. All members will have the same duties and rights in the performance of their activities as partners.

Mission

Promote and guarantee the socio-economic well-being of the associates of the Employee Savings and Loan Bank; as well as promote the culture of savings, solidarity, cooperation and respect among associates. In the same way, encourage the formation of the habit of the economy and social security, developing strategies that increase the contributions of each associate
and investing them in social benefits that ensure our assets and financial solvency.
